The Opportunity - (Remote - USA / CANADA)
We are looking for a Business Benefits Lead that will own our benefits offerings from end to end. We are growing a new business at Wrapbook by providing our own in-house health benefits offering for production companies using Wrapbook.You will develop the strategy, execute the plan and optimize the program over time with support from cross-functional teams. You’ll provide your recommendation to the Executive team on how our benefits program should evolve over time based on your expertise, customer feedback and industry trends.
The ideal candidate will have domain knowledge that can help us set up the right internal and external process to provide a great customer experience while still building the program at the same time. You’ll own the employee journey from enrollment, onboarding, employee deduction setup and maintenance. in partnership with product, operations and marketing and our third party providers. You’ll drive cross-functional coordination and alignment on overall program management for standing up and scaling our benefits program. You’ll keep the executive team and other key stakeholders informed of our progress and/or risks throughout the build process.
What you’ll do:
- You own building and scaling our health benefits offering. You will get support from cross-functional teams but you are accountable for driving the execution and success of the program.
- Responsible for the service delivery model strategy and operational execution for benefits customer journeys using first principles and critical thinking pathways.
- Own the relationships with various third parties that are essential to our success including software companies, third party health care companies and broker/carriers.
- Partner with these third parties to operationalize our program including plan presentment, enrollment, reporting and more.
- Drive the overall benefits strategy.
- Responsible for partnering with our internal analytics, product and operations team to set up scalable processes to:
- Collect and aggregate data from any payroll provider and in-house payroll system
- Aggregate payroll data across all shows and production companies to assess measurement and stability periods, administrative periods, and breaks in service.
- Execute monthly eligibility reports displaying full-time and part-time employees with ACA-Compliance support
- Analyze hours for new hires and ongoing union and non-union employees to determine employee status for ACA health benefit eligibility.
- Partner with the enablement team to develop and deliver training programs for sales, customer support, customer success to help them understand our health benefits offering including: onboarding, FAQs and the appropriate escalation paths.
- Provides continual, prioritized feedback to the engineering and product teams on how the product, onboarding process and ongoing support needs to evolve to support our benefit program.
What you’ll have:
- 6-8+ years progressive experience in the administration, development and implementation of benefit programs.
- Experience within the entertainment payroll industry and/or start up is preferred.
- Have a deep understanding of ACA-compliant health insurance and how to support reporting payroll data to support health insurance not offered through Wrapbook’s program.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA,
