QA/QC Representative - Job description
Bureau Veritas North America – Power group is seeking a QA/QC Representative to join our fast-growing team in Dallas, Texas. The project assignment will be on a solar project in Ridgley, TN. The company provides owner’s representation, preconstruction management and consulting services to the utility-scale renewable-energy markets, including the wind, solar, battery energy storage and transmission sectors.

Qualifications:
-
Four-year degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
-
Three to five years of experience in preparing and enforcing quality control programs
-
Experience in construction, renewable energy, or engineering fields preferred
-
Advanced database, computer skills, and record-keeping skills
-
Good collaboration and teamwork skills
-
Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively
-
Highly-organized and detail oriented, with excellent follow-through

Communicate professionally, effectively, and timely (both oral and written)

Self-motivated to complete tasks with ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities

Skilled in technology applications and computer use
Responsibilities:
-
Take inventory and inspection on all equipment deliveries.

Advise and supports the Site Manager and other BV site employees in the execution of quality plan set forth for the project
-
Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the Site Manager

Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required
-
Responsible for the project organization associated with the review and verification of quality activities defined in the scope of work

Responsible for the management of all quality issues

Follow all quality assurance procedures set forth per the scope of work
-
Review quality plan and project procedures of EPC/subcontractors/vendors for compliance to standards and local specific quality requirements

Develop inspection procedures in accordance with the scope of work to ensure compliance to project and quality requirements including creating inspection check sheets as required
-
Provide regular status updates of any open or tracked QA/QC items on the project that are found to be out of conformance and discuss resolution to these items
-
Coordinate and approve subcontractors responses to nonconforming items identified

Organize and file digital records of any quality related issues
