We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving position on mid that verifies and submits documents on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all incoming freight, receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet.
• Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment, and prepare the BOL (bill of lading).
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
• Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health & safety
• Act as a backup to other departments as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Job Requirements

• Must be able to drive a forklift safely
• Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Essential

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred
• Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 3 months of hire
• Fork Lift Certification License
• Material Handling equipment familiarity
• Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent.
• Strong communicator
• Experience working within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning industry
