Administrative Assistant

Texas Biomed is searching for an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support for the Facilities team.

The Role:

· Coordinates and prepares staff meetings, committee meetings, and similar events

· Assists with the scheduling and maintaining of the facility work ticket system

· Distributes/opens mail, answers telephone calls/records messages, and composes correspondence/documents

· Submits IT work order tickets for department

· Enters purchasing requisitions

· Receives and routes paperwork, supplies, equipment and other materials for campus deliveries 

· Establishes, maintains and retires various files

Our Ideal Candidate:

Requires a high school diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree preferred

Requires at least 1 year job specific experience, 3 years’ experience preferred

Must have well-developed organizational skills 

Computer knowledge, to include Microsoft Office experience required
