Job Duties
The protection of life and property, preservation of peace, enforcement of the laws of the Commonwealth, as well as regulations of the University within appropriate jurisdictional boundaries.
To provide efficient security and public safety service to the University community by effectively responding to calls for service, by reporting crime and other suspicious activities, resolving public safety matters, and addressing administrative infractions.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work:
The ability to project a positive image of the University and Department through positive attitude and appearance.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to function mentally and physically under stress and in emergency situations.
Good physical condition and an ability to withstand extensive walking during a tour of duty.
