The Opportunity
Flock is building a world-class partner ecosystem fully integrated with a finely tuned go-to-market engine. Partnerships, strategic investments, and M&A serve as a force multiplier for revenue growth, product differentiation, and market expansion - transforming the ecosystem into a core driver of Flock’s private and public-sector success. Corporate development plays a critical role in this vision, helping identify, structure, and scale the partnerships, acquisitions, and investments that accelerate Flock’s growth.
The Corporate Development Manager will help bring this vision to life. This person will help source, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities, strategic investments, and ecosystem partnerships that drive Flock’s GTM momentum and product leadership. The Associate will manage deal processes across the full M&A lifecycle - from sourcing and diligence through financial modeling, negotiation, and post-merger integration. This role will also contribute to build/buy/partner strategy, refine monetization models for ecosystem offerings, and help scale partner-driven adoption of Flock’s APIs and products - helping position Flock as the ecosystem leader in public and private-sector markets.
This position is required to live in Georgia or New York.
Key Responsibilities
Help source, structure, and manage M&A opportunities, leading execution across diligence, modeling, deal negotiation, and internal stakeholder alignment.
Partner with functional leaders to plan and execute integration efforts post-acquisition, ensuring both operational success and strategic value realization.
Identify and evaluate minority investment opportunities that align with our strategic priorities and enhance our ecosystem
Support the management of CVC initiatives, including investment thesis development, pipeline management, diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
Take ownership of ad hoc strategic projects (e.g. market assessments, competitive analyses, build/buy/partner evaluations, ecosystem strategy)
Develop materials and recommendations for the Executive Team and Board on corporate development and strategic investment opportunities.
The Skillset
Experience in corporate development, M&A, investments, partnerships, or consulting
Strong deal execution skills across M&A, investments, and partnerships
Ability to drive build/buy/partner decisions and strategic ecosystem development
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and align stakeholders
Sharp financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic thinking capabilities
Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Bias toward operational execution and measurable outcomes
