Licensed Practical Nurse - UI Health Care Cedar Rapids OBGYN Clinic 100%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week)  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN), Cedar Rapids. This position will mainly support our Cedar Rapids OBGYN Clinic but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Specialty/Outreach, Family Medicine, and/or Pediatrics

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards
