Job Description

Hall Nissan in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Spray-In Bedliner Installation Tech for our busy service team. This is a Monday through Friday position, no Saturdays, paying $18/hour.

Essential Duties for Spray-In Bedliner Tech:

• Operates and uses all equipment properly and safely
• Assists in masking and protecting parts that are not to be painted or coated
• May assist in mixing paint according to specifications
• May assist in painting surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate
• Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, and unpainted areas
• Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair
• Keeps work area clean
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacture
• Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials
• Reports any deviations to management
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicle
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

Qualifications for Spray-In Bedliner Tech:
- 1 year experience as Spray-In Bedliner Technician

- Valid driver’s license with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills
