What You’ll Do
30% - Strategic Planning

• Use your understanding of the media planning process to support the business solutions team and work with investment teams across a multitude of client deliverables
• Contribute to development of plan presentation materials including updating plans based on changes/revisions
• Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities, on an ongoing basis
• Responsible for utilizing consumer research and competitive intelligence tools (MRI, Cadence, AdIntel) to identify key trends and insights to shape recommendations
• Continue to strengthen understanding of media strategy and applications

40% - Account Management

• Prepare and distribute creative specs and traffic instructions, partner with Traffic team to track deadlines and deliverables, responding to any inquiries appropriately
• Oversee the billing and budget maintenance process; work closely with budget analyst, when applicable
• Organize team documents and maintain status documents and timelines to ensure all client deadlines are met
• Develop and manage media authorizations
• Establish frameworks and templates for presentations decks and team projects
• Build and foster open communication with internal teams and media partners

30% - Internal Relationship Management

• Collaborate with Supervisor to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Present action items and updates on deliverables on status calls
• Engage and effectively interact with other Horizon departments, i.e. Investment, Traffic, Operations
• Communicate action items and deadlines to internal teams, answer questions and follow up on deliverables
• Apply knowledge of current/previous clients’ specific business and industry to enhance and further relationships

 Preferred Skills & Experience

• 1+ years previous media planning experience, with multiple media channels preferred
• Strong understanding of media math, terminology and analytical tools (MRI, YouGov, Nielsen)
• Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be applied relative to the media planning process
• Experience with Monday.com
• Experience developing and presenting plan presentations
• Previous experience on entertainment account
