Job Description

We are partnering with a large utilities provider’s ML Enablement Team to centralize MLOps practices and standards across the enterprise. As a key part of this effort, you’ll provide strategic guidance on enterprise ML strategy, including target architectures, pattern templates, security strategy (e.g., role structure and permission), container strategy, and ML best practices. You’ll apply thought leadership, design thinking, and next-gen technologies to advance our clients toward their biggest business goals, while mentoring other team members along the way.  

In this role, you’ll… 

• Set MLOps standards at the enterprise level. 
• Develop and refine architectures and patterns. 
• Lead the development of maturity assessment and roadmap. 
• Collaborate with IT teams and governance boards and communicate with leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production experience as an Architect, developing ML enablement strategies and AWS Native Solutions 
• Experience architecting solutions in and working with AWS SageMaker, Terraform, and Azure DevOps pipelines 
• 3-4+ years of production experience coding in Python 
• Experience delivering architecture documents on solution technical design, application design, integration, non-functional requirements, and deployment approach  
• Proven experience collaborating and communicating with cross-functional and leadership teams 
• Knowledge of data retention and security best practices 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience 

Ideal, but not required 

• AWS Solutions Architect Certification 
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification 
• Consulting experience 

Additional Information

Washington State base compensation range: $170,000 - 195,000, DOE
