Who We Are  
We are the Parking Enforcement Division of UT’s Parking and Transportation Department. Parking Enforcement Officers play a critical role in ensuring that campus parking spaces are utilized in accordance with our rules and regulations. If selected to fill this position, your office would be the entire UT campus where you will inspect parked vehicles to ensure they are using the spaces properly. You would also be joining a supportive, high-morale and high-performing team.

Provides university parking services by enforcing University rules and regulations. Ensures that parking regulations are enforced and assists the public with information, such as directions to buildings and offices. Shift assignments may vary depending on departmental needs. Weekend work may be required. Holiday, occasional overtime or comp time required as necessary. Work without day-to-day supervision.

Purpose

To provide safe, cost-effective mechanical repair services and support, to a full-service automotive shop and fueling facility. To inspect, diagnose, and perform necessary repairs to vehicles, carts, trailers, and assorted equipment.

Responsibilities

  • All Parking Enforcement Officers (PEOs) perform a combination of functions: ticket writer, kiosk guard, relief guard, auto assistance provider, customer service rep., event set-ups and removals, garage and lot counts, and Boot Truck Driver. Will traverse a geographical area (district) via different modes of transportation, including walking, scooter, bicycle, cart, or motorized vehicle, while issuing parking violation citations or war
