About the role

<p>We are looking for an experienced Ops Engineer to contribute to the delivery of services in the domain of Corporate Real Estate Management and Facility Services.</p><p>As an engineer for CREFS NL, you work in a squad to support a wide range of IT solutions, from Security management &amp; Physical access control - supporting the Security services for ING’s Head Quarters and Branch office in NL - to IT solutions for Facility Services, such as visitors’ registration.</p><p>The solutions are managed within the IT Area ‘Employee TECH Services’, which combines the IT Services for Corporate Real Estate Facility Service with the services for the Global Intranet (ING Today) and Global Human Resources. These domains all work in a shared perspective towards employees having a fantastic ING employee experience.</p><p></p><p><span>The team</span></p><p>In the team we offer you the opportunity to try new things and work on innovations, bring your ideas to life. All team members have an equal say in the stories on the backlog and what will be picked up from it. The team works closely with internal partners like Workplace Services and with external partners like Nsecure, CBRE, ASB, CroonWolter &amp; Dros.  We develop and implement new features, but also continuously improve and maintain code, monitoring, alerting and processes.</p><p></p><p><span>Roles and responsibilities</span></p><p>Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>As an Ops Engineer, you contribute and are responsible for handling incident management, change management and root cause analysis in case of unavailability and data quality issues.</p></li><li><p>You support end-users with service requests.</p></li><li><p>Work on a variety of projects and improvements to current systems using Agile/Scrum methods.</p></li><li><p>Develop and oversee automation pipelines in Azure DevOps</p></li><li><p>Actively own, develop, enhance and maintain Monitoring &amp; Alerting of production systems.</p></li><li><p>Work on Risk &amp; Security topics.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and align with internal IT teams</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>How to succeed</span></p><p><span>We hire smart people like you for your potential. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.</span></p><ul><li><p>You have 10+ years of an excellent understanding &amp; experience with:<br/>- Network/Network design, routing protocols and network equipment</p></li><li><p>2 - 3+ years of financial background experience</p></li><li><p>A Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent</p></li><li><p>You are a motivated engineer who likes to work in a team in a complex IT (infrastructure) environment.</p></li><li><p>- Server and database management Windows, Citrix, SQL<br/>- Microsoft products e.g. Azure, O365; preferably certified</p></li><li><p>You have a solid experience in Information Risk &amp; Security</p></li><li><p>You continuously want to grow your personal skills as an engineer</p></li><li><p>Keep doing things smarter/continuous improvement is in your DNA.</p></li><li><p>You have a mentality that aligns with our Orange culture and values where you ‘Take it on and make it happen’ and take responsibility</p></li><li><p>Maneuvers comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics</p></li><li><p>You are an engineer that gives other engineers a lot of energy!</p></li><li><p>Experience working within a financial institute</p></li><li><p>Preferably have experience with Nedap access control software</p></li><li><p>You recognize yourself in the following profile:</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 10 years of experience as a DevOps engineer in similar environments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We expect from you:</p><ul><li><p>Fluent communication skills in English.</p></li><li><p>5+ years’ experience in Agile way of working (SCRUM, Kanban)</p></li><li><p>A team player mindset</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Rewards and benefits</span></p><p><span>We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
