Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Mission Critical team, of the U.S. Central Sector based in the Atlanta, GA office.  

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• CAD Proficient in converting engineer's markups into working CAD drawings.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations with Trace or HAP.
• Plot drawings for review by engineer.
• Design single and double-line ductwork per standards and size appropriately with minimum assistance.
• Design hydraulic piping and size appropriately with minimum assistance.
• Able to use standard equipment symbols or show actual size with clearances on drawings.
• Prepare schedule and detail drawings and enter equipment specifications.
• Utilizes one of the CAD products to develop working drawings
• Performs technical calculations related to design concepts
• Verifies design elements meet code requirements. Familiarity with local code is preferred.
• Plots design documents for milestones. Coordinates equipment selected by Lead Designer or Engineer
• Performs project tasks in allocated time frame according to the work plan

 

What your experience looks like

• Studying BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Revit experience is strongly recommended
• Microsoft Office
