JOB TITLE:
Administrative Associate
JOB PURPOSE:
Provides administrative support to the College of Law Dean to facilitate the Dean’s activities in administering the College of Law, fundraising, and recruiting top students. Maintains the dean’s calendar and schedule. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks. Acts and a liaison for the dean and their office. Drafts and sends communications on Dean’s behalf. Oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. Oversees and works on special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Dean with administrative tasks as requested. Maintains the Dean’s calendar and schedule. Drafts and sends communication to students, faculty staff, and others.
- Assists the Dean in preparing and organizing meetings, presentations, and events.
- Provides support for Dean’s level operations, including promotion and tenure, discipline, and relations with University offices and officers.
- Performs short-term or longer-term projects that require research analysis, or compilation of data. Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Oversee management of unit/program files and records. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive records and communications.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responses to routine questions about the College of Law whether received by mail, e-mail, or telephone.
- Maintains the College of Law e-mail accounts. Routes non-routine communications to the appropriate responder.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors' degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 2 years progressively responsible work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: None
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
