Production Operative

Duties:

To qualify as a Production Operative, an individual must be able to Assist in setup and operate all MP, shear and leveling equipment with little to no supervision.  Operative is to fill in with the MP, Leveler, Shear, Tool Service and other departments when business needs require it.

Essential functions and responsibilities.

• Assist to Operate MPs/Shears/Levelers to produce product in accordance with shop order
• Assist to Setup MPs/Shears/Levelers to produce order per type and size of material
• Review shop order and manufacture product to confirm adherence to customer specification
• Assist to MPs/Shear/Level all products within the specifications of IPA tolerances or special tolerance called for on the shop order
• Process all shop orders on a timely basis to meet customer requirements

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a basic math skill assessment
• Must possess basic math and reading skills
• Requires ability to read a ruler, set calipers, micrometer and pin gauges
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings

• Must be able to work in Team Environment and also work doing individual tasks as needed
