About the Department
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Manages accreditation, duty schedules, evaluation, recruitment, Match process, and orientation. Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Manages requirements of the training program, including accreditation, duty schedules, evaluation process, resident/fellowship recruitment, match process, orientation and employees relations.
- Reports and ensures compliance with procedures regarding licensing, moonlighting, annual contracts, and initial and re-credentialing of trainees.
- Manages employees by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and/or promotional increases.
- Manages day-to-day operations of accredited and non-accredited residency and fellowship training programs and ensures compliance with organizations such as the American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Residency Review Committees (RRC).
- Performs other related work as needed.

- Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Previous experience within an academic medical center environment.
- Previous experience within medical education.
- Some quality improvement practices experience.
