About the role: 

 

The Senior Analyst, Commercial FP&A is responsible for the preparation and analysis of accurate financial data (plans, forecasts, latest estimates, monthly reports etc.) and initial variance analysis & support as well as the resolution of ad-hoc requests and analysis on all financial aspects of the business. This position involves close collaboration with many internal stakeholders.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Create, consolidate and present financial reports to management or other members of the finance function in order to support with business planning and business control within the organization
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various departments, being actively involved in the planning process
  • Develop analysis and management reports to support decision-making processes (e.g. KPI report, operations report, quarterly finance report)
  • Proactively investigate automation opportunities and coordinate their realization with IT from idea to go-live and testing
  • Identify and provide insights into movement between actuals, forecasts, prior year, latest estimates and budget, along with supporting variance analyses
  • Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis requirements
  • Present periodic performance result
  • Maintain compliance with processes and procedures, recommend corrective action when identified and maintain suitable records to demonstrate compliance
  • Coordinate and distribute work to FP&A junior analysts in other BC locations

 

 

About you:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A and/or Reporting with obligatory accounting understanding
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral
  • Data analytics and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools
  • Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skills (Tables, Pivot Tables, lookups variants)
  • Experience with BI tools, SAP and Business Warehouse preferred
