TREATMENT NURSE LPN or RN (64809)

Treatment Nurse:

 We are looking for an RN or LPN Treatment Nurse who shares this vision to join our incredible team.

Our Treatment Nurses provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the facility's Medical Director, emphasizing treatment and therapy of skin disorders. Treatment nurses also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident by establishing medical practices, meeting the requirements of this state, and aligning with the policies and goals of our facility.

Education/Certification:

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse who is licensed and in good standing with the State.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Specific Requirements: 

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as an LPN/LVN/RN.
• Must be able to identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders and primary and secondary lesions, such as skin abrasions, foot problems such as corns and callouses, decubitus ulcers, bacterial, parasitic, and viral skin infections, scaling papular diseases, and benign tumor.
