1. Daily

1. 1. Maintain Tax Exemption Certificates & Direct Pay Permits in Vertex and recalculate tax on existing Sales Orders to prevent errors.
   2. Maintain Material numbers in Vertex.
   3. Create and maintain Customer numbers in Vertex.
   4. Process Tax only credits to Customers.
   5. Troubleshoot tax issues with Sales Order entry personnel, and train as necessary.
   6. Communicate with Customers regarding taxability issues and proper qualifying documents.
   7. Research transactional taxability issues.
   8. Supply Andritz Tax Exemptions Certificates to Vendors, after verifying purchase usage.

 

1. Monthly
   1. Reconcile tax GL accounts, (140226, 140227, 140225, 140232, 140228, and 140233).
   2. Download monthly data from Vertex Central and upload into Vertex Returns. Print Returns.
   3. File Tax returns; Post Tax return in A/P; Post online Payments against A/P postings.
   4. Clear all open items in tax GL Accounts.
   5. Research Debit balances by Jurisdiction and take corrective action.

 

1. Sales Tax Audits
   1. Provide supporting journals and documents, as requested by auditors.
   2. Issue correcting invoices, based on audit results.
   3. Make procedure changes, based on audit results.
2. Ongoing
   1. Maintain training documents and hold training sessions as needed.
   2. Respond to tax inquiries by Andritz Sale personnel.
   3. Address notices received from taxing jurisdictions.
   4. Perform duties as required by Role as Business Account Manager (BAM) for Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), relative to CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM).

 

1. Accelerator and flexRFC AR
   1. Maintain Tables and Codes.
   2. Train and communicate with Andritz personnel, on both A/R and A/P transactions.

1. ASAP Key User  S/4 HANA:
1. 30% of time should be allocated to testing, per Global Team.
2. Participation in KU Training.
3. As a KU, will then train Users, in my designated area of expertise/responsibility.
