Head of Software Engineering and Architecture - Autonomous

Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.</span><br/><span>Einride is seeking a visionary Head of Software Engineering &amp; Architecture to lead the development of our autonomous transport solutions. You'll drive technical excellence, optimize processes, and scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.</span><br/> <h3>You will:</h3> <ul> <li>Define and evolve software architecture aligned with product goals.</li><li>Implement lean engineering practices to enhance quality and reliability.</li><li>Oversee autonomous software development, including next-gen advancements.</li><li>Optimize CI/CD pipelines and simulation-based verification.</li><li>Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering innovation and technical excellence.</li><li>Establish agile methodologies, compliance roadmaps, and key performance metrics.</li></ul> <h3>We expect you to have:</h3> <ul> <li>Extensive leadership experience driving success in high-growth tech environments.</li><li>Proven experience in autonomous or automotive software development.</li><li>Proficiency in applicable standards like ISO 26262, ASPICE and functional safety.</li><li>Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Fluent in English </li></ul><span>This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
