Capital Markets Operations Trading Analyst I

UMB Institutional Banking encompasses the following areas: Corporate Trust, Specialty Trust & Agency Solutions, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Capital Markets, Investor Solutions, Public Finance and Healthcare Services. It combines institutionally focused capabilities into one cohesive unit, serving the entire institutional marketplace from smaller correspondent banks and municipalities to the largest broker-dealers and fund companies in the United States.

  

This team supports the business needs and processing for Capital Markets activities, including Trading and Underwriting, acting as a liaison between sales team, clients and systems users.

As an Operations Trading Analyst I, you will support and partner with Capital Markets business unit stakeholders and staff.  You will work with all related to trading, clearance and settlement, for bank dealer activities. Additional duties would include special projects related to business workflow, reporting requirements and some data analysis.

How you’ll spend your time:  

• You will support Bank Dealer Operations, Trading, Underwriting, Settlement, Safekeeping Custody, Funding, and Portfolio Accounting.
• You will provide multiple lines of support and coverage while maintaining bank dealer activities.
• You will validate production implementation and assist with end-user training and regulatory compliance.

• You have two (2) years of Securities Trading and Settlements experience or a combination of education and related work experience.
• You have one (1) year of business systems analysis experience
• You have at least three (3) years of operational support experience

***This position will be onsite for qualified candidates in the Kansas City metro area.***

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $47,145.00 - Mid Point: $62,895.00
