Job Description Summary:

Provide support to farm staff, perform daily farm tasks, assist with harvesting, planting, and growing vegetables.

Description of Duties and Tasks

• Performs duties in support of the farm manager and additional dept. staff
• Gathers, compiles, and enters data, producing routine reports and documents.
• Assist in the planting, harvesting, and selling of organic produce grown on the sustainable student farm
• Assist farm manager and other dept. staff in caring for livestock on sustainable student farm
• Assist farm manager and other dept. staff in operation of weekly farm stand
• Assist farm manager and other dept. staff

• Operation of manual tools

• Customer service techniques.

Physical Requirements

• Work is routinely performed in an outdoor standard office or similar environment.
• Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
