Job Description
We are looking for Data Science engineer to be part of a RSS data team that includes full stack software engineer, data scientists, and data engineers. The team works closely with development and QA engineers, product managers, and end users on projects that involve large, complex and dynamic data sets. These projects are aiming at building data tools and models that help developing/qualifying new products; as well as improving existing products in terms of cost, yield and reliability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing big data platform and data pipeline tools to develop optimal automated processes to assemble and process large data sets from different sources and ensure optimal and consistent delivery of analysis-ready data at scale.
- Identify data issues, evaluate their impacts on analytic projects, and find/implement solutions
- Lead the development and evaluation of generative AI techniques to expand the existing portfolio, support innovation, and deliver value to the engineering community.
- Build on existing efforts with the in-house Nebula data platform and collaborate with the team to deploy a service ready for production-scale use.
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a MS or BS degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, R, NodeJS.
- Solid understanding of Gen-AI, relational databases and associated tools/libraries.
- Self-motivated individual, driven by curiosity and a passion for unlocking the potential of data.
