Business Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Manage and communicate the business, technology, and architectural information supporting business and technology alignment for Digital Transformation programs for the client. Focus on proactive consultation, guidance, and partnership, leverage understanding of the client's business strategies and initiatives, and provide insights back to their business and IT partners. Partner with business leaders to determine the feasibility of new ideas, assessing emerging opportunities, identifying Proof of Concept opportunities, translating strategy and business needs into complete, coordinated business models, and working with PMO and IT partners to guide the evolution of ideas into funded initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with FDA device submission strategies and processes
• 5+ years of experience working on business strategies and their alignment with IT programs and deliverables
• 5+ years of experience with Business or IT architecture
• 5+ years of experience managing relationships across multiple business units
• Experience operating in a highly collaborative environment with influence
• Ability to create and maintain cohesive models and roadmaps, and communicate to executives and stakeholders to ensure consensus on proposed capabilities and business and technology implications
• Ability to drive and facilitate cross-functional business and technology collaboration to create strategies and plans which address business opportunities and identify the possible range of solutions
• Ability to identify the impact of business plans on major project initiatives, business operations, and solutions
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to document and present conceptual views depicting critical business needs and decision points, and identify principles to guide decision making on conceptual business and technology approaches
• Ability to utilize the current state assessments and architectural designs to participate in the development of transformation roadmaps
• Ability to conduct assessments during business ideation, discovery, and solutioning to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies
• Ability to work across organizational silos to identify opportunities for collaboration, reuse, and automation as well as to identify and resolve dependencies and impacts
• Ability to align business strategy and action via models, and metrics to ensure that business units across the organization are working together to attain strategic visions and goals
• Ability to systematically assess capability gaps and facilitate examination of LOE, benefits, dependencies, and proposed action plans and strategies
• Bachelor’s degree
