Credit Analyst II

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the oversight and management of credit limits, credit management and collaboration with customers.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Conducts detailed evaluation of customer accounts based on credit data, financial information, and account history to determine appropriate credit limits.
• Collects accounts receivable for assigned customer accounts.
• Oversees and manages assigned accounts.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account maintenance and assists in optimizing departmental performance.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Actively participates in annual and as required financial and tax audits.
• Participates on projects requiring department expertise.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Requires a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience in credit & collections, accounts receivable or related experience.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:

• ERP system experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, spreadsheets, and bookkeeping
• Intermediate knowledge of excel
• Excellent customer service and communication
