Deere & Company is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer-VD&V in Grovetown, GA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Application of FEA tools (Ansys, Abaqus or Altair) and CAD manipulation/preparation tools to aid design and verify product durability to requirements (4 yrs); Execute nonlinear FEA with contact, bolted joints and nonlinear material properties, must resolve nonconvergence issues (4 yrs); Use strain-life fatigue methods to predict and correlate to field test results (3 yrs); Create product verification plans for simulation, lab or field test activities (2 yrs); Develop process improvements or simulation enhancements (4 yrs); Coach a global multicultural team of offshore and US based analysts (3 yrs); Experience identifying failure mechanisms from field and test experience (4 yrs). Remote work allowed 1 day per week. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
