Our main task is to continously improve how Statkraft utilizes the cloud, and help IT adopt and deliver on the Statkraft cloud strategy.</p><p>We are now looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the team who will be highly involved in shaping Statkraft's cloud journey moving forward. You will work in a dynamic and self-driven team, reporting to the Head of Cloud Infrastructure.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with architect, engineering, and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions</li><li>Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems</li><li>Develop, maintain, and evolve automation of cloud solutions in accordance with best practices and Statkraft security policies</li><li>Take initiative to analyze, review, and identify potential improvements and modernization points in existing environments</li><li>Modify and implement changes in existing environments</li><li>Help automate and streamline our operations and processes</li><li>Educate teams on implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>To be successful in this role, we believe you have:</p><ul><li>Ten or more years of experience in IT</li><li>Five or more years of experience related to cloud technologies as well as understanding of the potential in cloud delivery- and operating models</li><li>Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong scripting knowledge in Bicep, JSON, PowerShell, or similar</li><li>Bachelor's or master's degree within relevant field, or relevant work experience</li><li>Certifications related to cloud technology is a plus</li></ul><p>Skills and experience in the following:</p><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Self-driven and adaptable individual to an organization that is under transformation</li><li>Strong competency on security and compliance towards cloud</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Unlimited learning opportunities at various levels of the organization</li><li>The chance to grow your career alongside a truly global network of experts, leaders, specialists, and graduates from different countries and backgrounds </li><li>The opportunity to work somewhere with pride, and be able to honestly say “My work is contributing to saving the planet”</li><li>A work culture that puts emphasis on the individual, offering flexible working solutions, and work-life balance principles</li><li>Statkraft offers competitive terms of employment and benefits schemes, and we’re a trusted employer that puts the safety of our people first.
