Q2 is seeking an ambitious and adaptable Software Developer experienced in the ins and outs of development in a team setting.
As part of the Commercial Pricing team, you will be working individually and collaboratively to develop, implement, and support solutions through fast-paced environments for some of the top banks in the United States. Our ideal candidate is someone with a self-motivated, tinkering spirit who isn’t afraid to dive head first into a problem to figure it out.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end components that interact with end users and integrate with internal and external services
You will be working on developing features across front end and back end components for our PrecisionLender products
Upgrading our legacy code from Knockout.js to Vue.js
You'll work in an Agile environment, collaborating with product and engineering teams to build new features.
Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems
Support, maintain, and resolve problems for custom features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Assist and mentor teammates to provide technical leadership and evangelize best practices
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar, and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Experienced in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, ES6+ features, and building single-page applications.
Knowledgeable with modern front-end frameworks like Vue is desired but not required.
Experience with C# or other object-oriented languages or desire to learn/work with them is a plus
Preferred experience with cloud native applications, we work with Azure.
