Q2 is seeking an ambitious and adaptable Software Developer experienced in the ins and outs of development in a team setting. 

As part of the Commercial Pricing team, you will be working individually and collaboratively to develop, implement, and support solutions through fast-paced environments for some of the top banks in the United States.  Our ideal candidate is someone with a self-motivated, tinkering spirit who isn’t afraid to dive head first into a problem to figure it out. 

• Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end components that interact with end users and integrate with internal and external services 

• You will be working on developing features across front end and back end components for our PrecisionLender products 

• Upgrading our legacy code from Knockout.js to Vue.js 

• You'll work in an Agile environment, collaborating with product and engineering teams to build new features. 

• Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems 

• Support, maintain, and resolve problems for custom features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability 

• Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to 

• Assist and mentor teammates to provide technical leadership and evangelize best practices 

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar, and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. 

• Experienced in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, ES6+ features, and building single-page applications. 

• Knowledgeable with modern front-end frameworks like Vue is desired but not required.  

• Experience with C# or other object-oriented languages or desire to learn/work with them is a plus 

• Preferred experience with cloud native applications, we work with Azure.
