About the role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track projects through entire lifecycle from stakeholder engagement to implementation.
  • Work with cross-functional departments and coordinate multiple project timelines and project resources.
  • Manage work status across different information technology departments to include infrastructure, software and business intelligence.
  • Manage technology vendors on new and existing solutions.
  • Manage all facets of technical projects to ensure deliverables are met within schedule, budge and quality objectives.
  • Create requirement specifications for software projects and business intelligence reporting.
  • Evaluate existing department workflows and build requirements for integrating workflows in Jira to improve department efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes etc.
  • Create a federated platform including inter-department communication, task management and dashboard of department project statuses.
  • Define and track complex projects, often involving multiple departments, companies and third parties.
  • Champion and enforce change management discipline, generate and maintain Project Documentation and provide weekly and monthly KPI reports.
  • Consistent application of independent discretion over matters of significance to guarantee successful and effective management of all phases of a project from initiation to closing.
  • Participate creatively in developing and implementing solutions.
  • Draft memos for executive leadership on potential projects, current projects and completed projects.
  • Welcome challenges, goal oriented and have flexibility to meet the changing needs of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • At least five years of experience in Project Management in telecommunications or technology industry with demonstrated success in project management roles.
  • Experienced in PMbok Standards and Processes (PMP certification Required).
  • Working knowledge of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio).
  • Exceptional aptitude with business correspondence, telephone skills, computer expertise including research and data analysis
  • Energetic and ability to work in a fast-changing dynamic agile environment; strong work ethic with good time management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure is a plus.
  • Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
