About the role

What We Are Looking For 

Summer Programs Staff are responsible for responsible for staffing and facilitating summer programs and operations for a variety of program areas within Campus Recreation.  Primary areas of programming and staff coverage include (but not limited to) the ROCK, Pullin Family Marina, the SLC Pool, and Eastland Lakes Team and Leadership Center. 

Campus Recreation will provide Summer Programs Staff with the required trainings: 

  • Lifeguarding, First Aid, & CPR 
  • Belay Training 
  • Boater Safety 
  • Site Specific Operations Risk Management Procedures 

A  High School diploma and one year of relevant work experience is preferred. This position is Temporary.

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Encourage the Baylor Community to live active and healthy lives   
  • Assist in assigned area of responsibility  
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors   
  • Participate in various activities and tasks related to health and recreation   
  • Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed   
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission 
  • Ability to comply with University policies 
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
