Seasonal Service Leader - Aeration & Seeding

 

Virginia Green is looking for motivated Temporary or Seasonal Aeration and Seed Laborers in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and Richmond.

This 10-week assignment starts August through October. Must be able to work during the months of August through October. Has the potential to be considered for a full-time opportunity.

 

Eligible for a $250.00 sign on bonus after 60 days of employment

Must be at least 18 years old, clean background. We are a Drug Free environment.

Position Summary

The Temporary or Seasonal Aeration and Seed labor will report to crew leader and assist with Aeration and Seeding

Primary Responsibilities:

• Aerate lawns using aerator and hand tools, assist with maintaining and cleaning facility and grounds.
• Clean any road, driveway, sidewalks, or patios that were dirtied during the aeration process
• Overseed with push spreader
• Load truck with seed and other necessary materials at the end of each day for the next day’s work

Required Qualifications / Attributes

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands
• Be able to operate an aerator.
• Other duties as assigned
• Adhere to/follow all of Virginia Green’s safety procedures

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
