We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individuals to join our team as an SMDI Clinical Lead.

 
 

Severe and Disabling Mental Illness (SDMI) Waiver Case Management is a program offered through AWARE for people 18 years and older who require long-term community support due to mental health symptoms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical supervision as directed by administrative rule, corporate policy, and supervisory mandates to all mental health center services and programs.
  • Develop and implement service and individual treatments plans
  • Assesses the clinical needs of adults and makes treatment recommendations. Makes intervention suggestions to other members of the support team and performs as the lead member of an inter-disciplinary team.
  • Responds, as a clinical professional, to all calls originated from AWARE's Emergency/Crisis Response System. These calls may occur during "off" hours, including evening/early morning hours and during weekends.

Caseload and/or billing expectations and requirements must be met on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Requirements


  • A thorough clinical understanding of the above-noted services, individuals, resources, and tools.
  • The ability to assess clients (and families) from a strengths model perspective, along with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
  • Requires five (5) years of direct work experience.
  • Licensed (Candidate) as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license, (RN Degree) as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana.
