About the role:
The Senior Clinical Strategy Manger works with internal business and scientific stakeholders (including Medical, Clinical Trials, Medical Affairs, Marketing, HEMA, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and other groups), as well as external physician collaborators, to develop and execute the clinical evidence strategy for a large real-world EMR data source.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develops strategies and protocols and provides input to analysis plans aligned with evidence generation strategies for data collection from large real-world data source and leveraging of all available clinical evidence.
  • Ensures team objectives and clinical strategies are aligned with business and clinical stakeholder objectives and input, while incorporating a sound quality perspective. Provides quality assurance to ensure deliverables have high scientific rigor and business impact, and ensures stakeholders have visibility to the team’s work.
  • Fosters cross-functional collaboration, in particular leveraging critical input from the team, and ensures leadership buy-in and linkages across all projects. Ensures projects are completed on time as defined by the cadence of deliverables.
  • Develops external and internal business networks, provides insights on how to translate open evidence questions to analyses from a large data source, and evaluates competitive trends to guide clinical investments.
  • Assesses risks and opportunities at a level commensurate with clinical impact, considering long-term implications.  Partners with key stakeholders to recommend large data source strategies for both indication expansion and post-market analyses, maximizing the benefit/risk profile.
  • Helps prioritize divisional decision-making based on large dataset structure and availability for data collection and analysis to support regulatory submissions in all global regions.  
  • Engages external physicians as needed to provide input into study design and analysis plans.
  • Partners with Scientific Communications on large real-world data publication plans.
  • Supports team with influence management, oversees and guarantees quality of multiple concurrent programs and maintains context and objectivity to ensure data-based conclusions.


Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related work experience including:
    • Big data analysis and evidence generation.
    • Clinical strategy
    • Partnering with physicians on study design, execution, and analysis.
    • Data mining or data science related to clinical evidence generation.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence a broad range of global stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain strategic perspective and align activities with business vision and purpose.
