Registered Nurse (PRN) – Emergency Room (Safety Sensitive)

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to emergency room patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

- Assess patient conditions, perform triage, and prioritize care based on acuity

- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records

- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff

- Comply with all regulatory and safety-sensitive requirements, including maintaining certification and licensure

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Current RN license in good standing

- Prior experience in emergency room or acute care settings preferred

- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification required

- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safety-sensitive environment

- Flexibility to work PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
