The Opportunity:
Join the team driving the future of Army modernization. As an Engagement and Community Outreach Planner supporting Tranformation and Training Command (T2COM), you will play a critical role in strengthening stakeholder engagement across academia, industry, government, and community partners. This position supports the T2COM Communications Directorate by combining engagement coordination with rigorous data-driven assessments, ensuring outreach activities are effective, measurable, and aligned with the Army’s strategic objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of communications, data analysis, and defense strategy, providing insights and process improvements that directly support Army 2030 and 2040 priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Track and synchronize T2COM engagements with academic, community, industry, and government stakeholders.
- Maintain master calendars, trackers, and documentation of engagement activities to ensure alignment with command objectives.
- Support stakeholder meetings, briefings, outreach events, and feedback mechanisms.
- Capture, compile, and analyze engagement data in collaboration with the Media Analyst.
- Develop and apply qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess engagement effectiveness.
- Support after-action reviews and lessons-learned processes to improve future engagements.
- Establish and maintain secure data management processes for storing and analyzing engagement data.
- Develop dashboards, trackers, SOPs, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with defense security and data integrity standards.
- Deliver trend analysis, assessment reports, and engagement documentation that inform decision-making.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Six (6) years of military experience (Regiment/Brigade level or higher preferred).
- Experience coordinating or supporting DoD engagements, conferences, or outreach programs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel dashboards).
- Familiarity with communication evaluation methodologies, assessment frameworks, and social media sentiment analysis tools.
- U.S. Army or other Service-level staff experience preferred.
- SECRET security clearance required.
