Patient Transporter - Atrium Health Pineville FT Nights

Job Summary

Provides safe, efficient and courteous guest/transport services to patients, visitors and staff. Prioritizes service needs and performs customer service duties to include transports, escorts, equipment requests and basic patient care. Coordinates patients, visitors and staff activities throughout the facilities.
Essential Functions

• Role models a positive Atrium Health image to patients, visitors and staff by adhering to Our Atrium Health Way.
• Perform excellence customer service in transporting daily.
• Provide guest/transport services to include; transports, transfers, discharges, admissions, escorts, materials and equipment including transport of patients with medical devices/equipment (oxygen cylinders, intravenous pumps, PCA pumps, wound vac, etc.)
• Coordinate activities to guide patients, visitors/guests, and staff to desired designations within the facilities.
• Posses the ability to adjust the liter flow and determine PSI in an ox
