We are looking for a skilled Middle/Senior C++ Developer for our Continuous data protection (CDP) technology project to join our team of professionals. CDP is a technology that helps protect mission-critical VMware virtual machines when even a few seconds or minutes of data loss is unacceptable. CDP also ensures a minimal recovery time objective (RTO) in the event of a disaster, as VM replicas are in a ready-to-start state. The CDP solution is a part of the Veeam Backup and Replication suite.

Job Description

Your tasks will include:

• Developing and supporting the current functionalities of the CDP solution
• Conducting performance analysis, including profiling and metrics analysis
• Running diagnostics and bug fixes, including analysis of logs and core dumps
• Implementing network protocols between system components

Technologies we work with: C++ 17, STL, Boost, CMake, Git, Linux/Windows, VMware vSphere, Python

Qualifications

What we expect from you:

• 3+ years of experience with commercial development
• Strong knowledge of C++ and the STL
• Experience in developing multithreaded applications
• Knowledge of algorithms and data storage structures
• English proficiency level sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

• Experience developing on the Linux/Windows platforms
• Experience with asynchronous programming using boost::asio
• Experience with network programming
