Location:  SMCP North America Headquarters, 44 Wall Street / 20th Floor, New York, NY  10005

COMPENSATION RANGE:  $26.00 - $28.00 Per Hour

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly organized, driven, and culturally attuned Public Relations Coordinator to support our North American communications efforts and elevate Sandro’s brand image across the region. This role will work closely with the US and global teams based in Paris to shape and execute a comprehensive media value strategy across VIP, KOL, traditional media networks, and agency partnerships.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

Media & Influencer Support

  • Help build and maintain strong working relationships with fashion editors, celebrity stylists, influencers, talent managers, and other key media contacts
  • Assist with coordinating influencer and celebrity gifting or dressing, making sure items are sent & returned on time and aligned with brand campaigns
  • Respond to day-to-day press and stylist inquiries, ensuring all requests are handled quickly and professionally
  • Keep contact lists and media databases organized and current to ensure efficient outreach and follow-up

Sample & Logistics Management

  • Manage the movement (trafficking) of samples between our New York office, stylists, media outlets, influencers, and agency.
  • Keep the PR sample closet organized and up-to-date using FashionGPS
  • Place seasonal sample orders to support press coverage, influencer content, and celebrity dressing opportunities

Event Support

  • Assist in organizing and executing press and influencer events, including seasonal Press Days in NY & LA in partnership with agency
  • Support guest list management, press outreach, and influencer RSVPs for all events, alongside PR agency
  • Help with event logistics including shipping, setup, gifting, and on-site coordination

Reporting & Monitoring

  • Track and record all press coverage, influencer posts, and celebrity mentions across digital, print, and social channels
  • Put together weekly and monthly recaps, and assist with reports after major campaigns or events
  • Use Launchmetrics and Wearisma to help measure media impact, gather data, and report on PR performance
