Job Title: Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant

Job Summary:

Grand Villa Deerfield Beach is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our memory care residents. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the planning and implementation of daily activities for memory care residents

- Encourage resident participation in activities and events

- Provide one-on-one support to residents who require additional assistance

- Maintain a clean and organized activity area

- Assist with meal service and clean up as needed

- Document resident participation and behavior as required

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience working with seniors, particularly those with memory impairments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be available to work flexible hours that could include some weekends
