Job Description:

Seeking a sterile processing technician to serve at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue. This employee works full-time, day and evening shifts. A holiday rotation is required. A $3000 bonus is available, minus applicable taxes: $1500 pays out after 30 days of employment with a 2-year commitment, and $1500 pays out after 2 years.

Sterile Processing Technician I ($17.98-$26.97 based on experience):

Certification required within 2 years. Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Sterile Processing Technician II ($19.08-$28.62 based on experience):

Certification required upon hire. Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Sterile Tech I: Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 2 years of hire.
• Sterile Tech II: Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
