About the role

The Edwards Lifesciences Imaging Manager for Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Implantation (TPVI) provides expertise in TPVI patient screening through clinical imaging and imaging case support. You will be recognized as Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for TPVI Field Clinical Specialists and HCPs.

Candidate locations: Germany, UK

Travelling will be requested (Europe; training/onboarding also in United States) - 70 % in 1st year, afterward 50 % (rest of time home office).

How you will make an impact:

  • Analyzes imaging for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases for early feasibility
  • Analyzes, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (CT, echo, MRI, 3DRA/angiography) to provide inputs that support procedure development / best practices and to support event investigations
  • Trains field support team and/or HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures
  • Provides on-site cardiac imaging support and guidance during clinical procedures to ensure optimal imaging during the implantation of transcatheter devices
  • Develops strong relationship with proctors and implanters, and is recognized as SME for content creation support (internal & external educational events)
  • Works closely with TPVI team and the aortic local team for smooth case planning

Clinical (to a lesser extent when compared to FCS):

  • Shows extensive and detailed knowledge in pulmonic congenital disease and patient condition over lifetime
  • Educates, trains and certifies physicians, nurses and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to products and procedures including device preparation & imaging through conducting and/or coordinating 1-on-1 training sessions and in-service structured education programs on Edwards technology
  • Provides expert support to physicians or nurses during:
  • Clinical evaluation for the purposes of patient selection and screening
  • Pre-procedural planning and assessments (non-imaging, imaging)
  • Intraprocedural guidance (including imaging modalities, right heart evaluation steps)
  • Procedure outcomes assessment and case debrief


What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in in engineering sciences, information systems or business analysis or another field relevant to the position, 8 years years experience of experience in consultancy and/or project management required or Master's Degree or equivalent in in engineering sciences, information systems or business analysis or another field relevant to the position, 6 years years experience of experience in consultancy and/or project management required
  • Proved Imaging (CT, echo, MRI, 3DRA/angiography) expertise, experience
  • Knowledge of the medical device’s environment is strongly preferred

What else we look for:

  • Proven successful project management skills
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and systems
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Extensive understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Project management skill required, team lead experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in computer applications, with spreadsheet modeling and database analysis. Experienced Salesforce.com user is preferred.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Possesses good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks through effective prioritization to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Skilled at effectively communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Ability to coordinate, build consensus and persuade others.
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
