Senior Brand Designer (f/m/d) - Remote in CET±4

How you will make an impact

As our Senior Brand Designer, you’ll take on a critical role at Hygraph to own the design and branding for our marketing efforts. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will work closely with the marketing and design teams.

 

Some of your tasks and responsibilities include

• Evolving and leading the design of the marketing website and other digital properties by keeping the end-user experience at the core of everything you do.
• Contributing to the design system for marketing.
• Working closely with the wider marketing team to create assets for projects like open-source references (websites, apps, etc.), social media, product marketing (announcements, emails, etc.), as well as other initiatives like events and conferences.
• Taking an active role in the evolution of the company’s brand and design language.
• Contributing to and evolving the design culture within the company and the outside world.

Requirements

Our expectations from you

• You have expertise in all facets of marketing design (UI, brand, art direction).

• You’re an individual contributor with a preference for working independently and taking ownership.
• You have 5+ years of experience working in a design role, preferably at high-growth startups that are developing SaaS products catered to a highly technical audience.
• You have a strong familiarity with creating compelling and understandable designs and graphics for highly technical and abstract concepts.
• You have a strong sense of design aesthetics and liking for sophisticated design and a solid understanding of typography.
• You are a visual thinker and can translate your thoughts into visuals.
• You’re proficient with design and prototyping tools.
• You think in systems and can work with shared patterns and libraries.
• You have excellent organization and presentation skills that you use to communicate your ideas.
• You can communicate well in English, which is our official working language.

While not strictly required, we also value:

• Experience working with a developer-focused company before and understand working with an API-led product.
• Ability to create videos and animations (SVG, Lottie, APNG, etc.).
