Special Projects Coordinator

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Special Projects Coordinator to be based in our Washington, DC, Chicago or New York offices. As a member of the Clients & Markets (“C&M”) Special Projects team, the individual in this role will support C&M efforts to advance the strategic initiatives of Dentons US in an efficient manner; and will help align resources to provide solutions for our lawyers and clients. This position will liaise closely with members of the broader Dentons US C&M department as well as colleagues throughout the US Region and globally. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Special Projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional support to three main teams—Special Projects, Events & Sponsorships and Campaigns—to facilitate various projects and initiatives to drive the development of new and existing business
- Produce competitive intelligence deliverables to aid with new business and client opportunities
- Enhance the quality of departmental resources through regular review/optimization of materials and collateral
- Manage the onboarding program for C&M team members
- Generate client data and C&M financial analytics via the firm’s financial platform
- Provide support to the Events team including, but not limited to, pre- and post-event management such as coordination with the Digital Marketing and the Brand teams
- Provide support to the Campaigns team including, but not limited to, campaign plan development and execution
- Aid with the logistics and management of the firm’s stadium suite program, including, but not limited to, collaboration with lawyers to ensure maximum suite usage
- Work in coordination with the Business Development team to routinely review and provide maintenance of reports of new practice group clients/matters to determine which notable matters need to be imported to Global CredsBank, the firm’s matter management system
- Assist with the ongoing management of the C&M Teams channel
- Help with the onboarding of new laterals by serving as a liaison with secretaries to ensure new client contacts are added to InterAction and the appropriate practice group mailing lists
- Produce PowerPoints and other types of presentation materials for client opportunities
- Other duties as required to fully meet the needs of the position
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two (2) years of marketing and/or business development experience is desired
- Professional services industry or previous law firm experience preferred
- Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with the demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments and function as part of a cohesive team
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM (InterAction)
Salary Range
New York Only: $70,000 - $80,000
