Linux Systems Engineer

Job Description:
AFS is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer with excellent technical background in system administration and deep Linux operational knowledge to help support our high value client.
The Work:
- Act as liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations
- Communicate service delivery health to all stakeholders and explain any performance issues or risks
- Ensure Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime
- Hold performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or similar field
- 5 + years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS administration
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and CLI
- Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, iptables and networking configurations
- Fluency with Bash, Ansible and other scripting and automation technologies
- 8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Bonus points if you have:
- RedHat and / or AWS Certifications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container technologies
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
