Job Description

As a Security Guard - Media Patrol Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology-driven location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech and media location, including business interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
• Document observations and incidents, reporting any irregularities according to established protocols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and guests to offer assistance and uphold site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to support overall security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
