We are currently recruiting for a Finance Change & Innovation Lead for our Finance Division in Amsterdam.

Your impact at MUFG
You will play a critical role in overseeing the successful implementation of key finance modernization and sustainability reporting initiatives, i.e. implementation of a cloud-based Multi GAAP Accounting Hub Finance System and steering the implementation phase of CSRD project with a data driven strategic approach with a focus on digitizing the data supply chains for ESG data. This role also entails collaborating with wider finance teams across MBE and EMEA, data management, data warehousing and technology teams to ensure initiatives linked to the Finance projects are being executed on holistically and in a timely fashion and act the key finance ambassador. Furthermore, you will be involved in implementation of new products and their (accounting) assessment to implementation in the systems. You will also work together with various project teams of talented professionals and collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless execution of MBE's finance transformation, while strategically positioning the bank for long-term financial efficiency, compliance, and growth.
You will report to the Head of Statutory Reporting, Policies & Projects acting as the co-pilot, taking charge for the execution of finance change & modernization agenda and support finance senior management across bigger and smaller initiatives, their follow-up and reporting thereon.
The role includes the following:
- Provide change leadership: Ensuring that Finance and IT resources are focused on what matters most executing on the change strategy for the CFO domain.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and adaptability within the finance team and across the bank. Anticipate and address potential challenges and roadblocks related to the implementation process.
- Project Oversight: Provide overall project oversight for projects that fall under change agenda of the CFO, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timeline monitoring. Ensure that the projects remains on track and within budget while meeting all necessary milestones.
- Stakeholder Engagement both within and outside Finance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, risk, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the implementation process. Engage with external vendors and partners as needed.
