How will you make a difference?

As a Senior HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading the HR strategy for the Duncan, South Carolina Wabtec Passenger Transit Site. You'll partner strategically with Senior Leadership and their extended teams to support the Transit transformation, proactively identify and execute on both functional and business priorities, and drive culture change. Your role will be critical in shaping the future of our organization and its people.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in various Human Resource positions, both staff and client-based
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource leadership role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Previous HR team management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence & engage at all levels of the business, including senior leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong coaching skills

What will your typical day look like?

  •  Provide leadership for the full scope of HR functions, including talent management, succession planning, and employee/labor relations
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in areas of organizational talent & strategy, compensation & benefits, and learning strategies
  • Lead recruiting, selection, restructuring, and workforce reduction efforts as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies for robust pipeline and succession plans
  • Facilitate culture and communications throughout the organization
  • Manage compensation plans and rewards/recognition programs
  • Provide advice and support for benefits, training, EEO, compliance programs, and HR systems
  • Act as an impartial advocate to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all individuals
  • Champion change and advocate for diversity across the organization

This role primarily involves office work with no specific physical demands.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$89,100.00-$126,900.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com.
