Southeastern Plastic Surgery Clinic is seeking a Patient Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding patients through the plastic surgery process, from initial consultation to post-operative care. The Patient Consultant will work closely with our team of medical professionals to ensure that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care.
- Meet with patients to discuss their goals and concerns, and provide education about plastic surgery procedures and options.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the entire process.
- Work closely with medical staff to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and satisfaction.
- Coordinate scheduling of surgeries and appointments.
- Assist with financial arrangements, including insurance verification and payment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract new patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a patient care or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to educate and inform patients about complex medical procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with medical terminology and electronic health records systems a plus.
