Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

This position is responsible for creating, organizing, and supervising Prairie State Gaming (PSG) league activities and events. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Supervise League Administrators and provide direction and guidance in their duties.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to expand leagues throughout the state.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of league activities and events
  • Travel throughout the state of Illinois to build relationships with owners and league players
  • Hold meetings to discuss the different types of leagues (in house, traveling and online) with owners and players and the benefits of joining PSG recreational leagues
  • Expand the existing leagues with PSG through the state of Illinois
  • Lead collaboration with the Account and Service Managers to discuss new route leagues opportunities
  • Create, facilitate, and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Educate the Account and Route Managers on recreational league: sign-ups, tournaments, point of contacts
  • Educate location owners on how to promote and administer tournament bracket
  • Create and coordinate annual state dart events and tournaments
  • Manage and keep records of all activities and events
  • Order, receive, inventory, and merchandise as needed for leagues
  • Oversee ongoing league communication and collaborate with Marketing to promote leagues, maximize enrollments and communicate with owners and league players
  • Conduct ongoing assessment and evaluation of leagues performances and implement changes and/or enhancements as necessary
  • Provide outstanding team member and customer service in line with PSG service standards
  • Anticipate owners/patron problems and provide appropriate solutions; investigates, analyzes and resolves problems and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to customer satisfaction
  • Provide input in developing, preparing, and administering the budget, including preparing cost estimates and justifications for budget recommendations, researching and recommending Capital Improvement
  • Adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
  • Projects a positive image of the company at all times
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • This position requires driving a company vehicle
  • All other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum of 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.)
  • PC proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills<
