Position Summary
Leads and develops teams supporting the Provider NPS program, driving effective delivery of business process and technology initiatives that improve provider experience across multiple lines of business. Establishes and maintains best practices, coaches teams through change and ambiguity, and ensures execution of strategic objectives at the team and workstream level. Collaborates closely with business and technology partners to deliver value-based outcomes, monitors team performance using established metrics, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Oversees a budget of $1M+ and directly leads 6-8 Agile Practice Leads (All expected to be Level 410 Sr. Managers - Scrum Masters and Program Managers). Develops talent and supports professional growth to build high-performing, future-ready teams.
Job Description
Leads and develops agile delivery teams focused on Provider Experience / Provider NPS initiatives, supporting business process and technology improvements across multiple lines of business. Responsible for implementing best practices, coaching teams through change, and ensuring effective delivery of projects and initiatives that enhance provider experience. Partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize work, drive measurable outcomes, and address barriers to team success. Manages and develops a team of scrum masters and program managers, promoting a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
What you will do
- Lead enterprise delivery of multiple, highly complex business process and technology initiatives aligned to Provider Experience / Provider NPS program, supporting all lines of business.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of Provider Experience / Provider NPS projects, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and deliver measurable results.
- Identify and resolve delivery obstacles and risks, proactively removing barriers to team execution.
- Monitor performance metrics and use data to optimize processes, improve team productivity, and ensure accountability for outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with business and technology partners to translate goals into actionable plans and deliverables.
- Lead process improvements and root cause analysis to ensure sustainable, repeatable execution success.
- Implement and reinforce best practices to maximize team efficiency and responsiveness.
- Support team development and engagement, fostering a high-performance culture aligned to execution excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of professional IT delivery experience
- 1–3+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Experience managing budgets of $1M+
- Superior Communication and Facilitation skills, experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations/materials
- Strong execution and delivery skills, with a focus on planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams to deliver complex projects on time and within scope
- Mastery of problem-solving, decision-making, and growth mindset principles
- Experience with innovation management, emerging technologies, and digital transformation
- Proven ability to implement and sustain agile practices in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with additional software delivery methodologies including SAFe and Waterfall
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile (e.g., SM, RTE, SPC), PMP, or equivalent certifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
